    If the termination involves a property purchase contract, the property transfer fee is not charged twice but is considered fixed upon registration of the termination, with remaining fees calculated similarly to those for the original contract registration.

    To legally terminate a contract, all involved parties must personally identify themselves by signing before the civil registry authorities at the municipal level, along with presenting a property clearance certificate for the subject of the sale.

    Subsequently, it is necessary to visit the treasury office and submit at least three legal copies of lawyer’s books or a notarized deed transfer card, along with a copy thereof and copies of annual receipt settlements for the contracting party over the past three years. Registration fees are settled and a receipt obtained within 24 hours of registration.

    For contracts executed without notarial amendments, registered books and their clearance receipt are obtained and submitted, accompanied by birth certificates of the concerned parties to the regional property administration services.

    As for notarial deed transfer cards, the clearance receipt is obtained and presented to the notarial deed in order to obtain the usual evidence and submit it to the regional property administration services, accompanied by the birth certificate of the persons concerned.

    V. Registration Deadlines

    Contracts for termination must be registered within 60 days from the date of notarization. If this period is exceeded, late fees will be charged accordingly.
